I use these silicone rings instead of gluing the hinges. Perfect fit between the head and neck and in the shoulder joints.

I have some spare as they last longer than the hinge glue, which has to be reapplied more frequently.

There are 5 rings in the set and their size is 2.5 cm or about 1 inch.
